   World peace is not in the hands of men; women hold the key. It is women who carry precious life within them, enduring the pain and ecstasy at the moment of giving birth.

   Mothers of Israel are strong, compassionate women aspiring to create a future of peace and prosperity for their children and for the generations to come.

Yet, our present reality is a world in chaos where evil is rife and terror stalks the planet. In our society, we are witness to violence, corruption, perversion greed and intolerance. To attain the bright tomorrow we fervently desire, we women must initiate a “Tikkun;” invoke a miracle that would encourage the People of Israel to undergo a transformation and become, as was the Intention, a Light unto the Nations.  It is not enough to conceive a vision, one must make it happen.

   I propose convening a Congregation of Women, whose voices will resound in supplication to effect change in our society. Mothers and daughters of Israel, dressed all in white, each with her personal prayer will take part in a gala evening that would be transmitted live world-wide from a large auditorium in Jerusalem.  The exciting, inspiring program will include talks and prayers by prominent women leaders and song and dance by top performers, accompanied by an all-women’s orchestra. A propitious date for such an event could be:  when a day of Pesach  falls on Easter Sunday. Both festivals denote a renewal of nature in spring combined with the historical promise of redemption.

    An endeavour of this magnitude will demand the energy, dedication and voluntary work of women with organizational skills and talents in many fields and especially women who are already affiliated with such organizations.  I hope and pray that I can enlist your support, as well as the assistance of these institutions.
